Introduction:
Annapurna Region, located North Mid West of Nepal Himalaya with chain of mountains,
a spectacular region, where one can travel with daily views of mountains within world's tenth highest Annapurna and its massive range of peaks which includes from Annapurna I-II – III to IV with Gangapurna-Annapurna South-Huinchuli-Annapurna Fang or Vara Shikar and beautiful towering virgin peak Machhapuchare known as Fish Tail with unique two summit tops, the unclimbed peaks in whole Himalayan range.

Location:
Annapurna Region located in Western Nepal, 220 k.m away from Kathmandu with six hours driving distance and 30 minutes of scenic flights to reach at Pokhara, where most of the Annapurna treks and adventure starts and ends.
Best Time to Travel:
Annapurna Region where you can visit all year round depending upon the choice of destination and holiday duration. Where March and April wild flowers in full bloom, September to November are the best months with clear blue sky.
For moderate short treks all season possible including winter months of December and January.
As for longer and adventurous trek and climb March to June and September to December where high passes of above 5,000 m involved during the walks.
In Spring (depending upon the altitude wise) morning and night time cold freezing temperature of minimum minus -05° C to -10° C but the day warm with sunshine for few hours maximum of 15° C to 20° C.
Summer (depending upon the altitude wise) minimum minus -05° C to -10° C but the day warm with sunshine for few hours maximum of 20° C to 25° C.
Autumn / winter months of December to January will be the coldest with minimum minus -10° C to -15° C but the day warm with sunshine for few hours maximum of 15° C to 20° C.
Wind Chill is another factor bringing cold freezing breeze and howling winds, sometimes trekkers can face snow storm where you can be safe in the comfort of nice cozy lodges found around villages on trekking main trails.  
Religion and culture:
AnnapurnaRegion populated mostly by Gurung and Magar people with Manang and Thakali tribe as well with limited numbers, all the mountain and hill tribe practices Buddhism religion.
Main villages and towns from Pokhara city, Ghandruk, Landruk, Bhirethati, Tolka, Chomrong, Dhampus, Ghorepani, Tirkhedhunga and Siklis. The other side of Annapurna towards North starts with Besisar town, Syange-Jagat villages within Lamjung district and Timang-Dharapani-Chame-Pisang to Manang village economy of the mountain community traditionally been based on trade and livestock herding.
In southern Annapurna Region Gurung and Magar tribe people have long history producing gallant Gorkha soldiers in foreign legions in UK –Indian Army as well in Singapore.
